Located on the far end of Gaines Street, just southwest of Florida State University, sits the lively College Town District. Unlike many of the other historic districts that surround Florida State University, College Town is relatively new to Tallahassee. It’s built on what was once a heavily industrial area, but has since been transformed into the very thing it’s named after: a college town.
