Thousands of students searching for houses and apartments near Ohio State University use CollegePads.com every year to find housing. Like many other campuses in the midwest and northeast, many students at Ohio State start searching for housing in October and November for leases that start the following August.
This year students got a jump start on things and were inquiring about potential rentals a little earlier this year. Tons of students were reaching out to properties all month long in September – with many reaching out to houses. This isn’t uncommon – most students reach out houses for rent in Columbus in these early days of the housing season, since there is more competition for six bedroom houses prime locations!
