Thousands of students searching for houses and apartments near Ball State use CollegePads.com every year to find housing. Like many other campuses in the midwest and northeast, many students at Ball State start searching for housing in September and October for leases that start the following August.
This September was no different. Tons of students were reaching out to properties all month long – with many reaching out to houses. Most students reach out houses for rent in Muncie in these early days of the housing season. Competition is more intense and there are fewer prime locations available!
And these locations are prime. These houses were the five most contacted properties by students in the month of September, 2019.
1. 1407 W University Ave
This six bedroom house is a short walk from campus and just down the block from Brothers Bar and Grill. It has an outdoor balcony above the butler’s pantry – no butler included unfortunately!
2. 203 N Martin St
The Martin Street Townhouses are fully furnished townhouses, ideal for the new renter who has no stuff to be attached to. They rent by the bedroom, which is a relief to many students as well!
3. 303 N Martin St
This place was so popular that you won’t be able to find it anymore. 303 Martin is one of those places that rents up a few days after it comes on the market. With the same great location near Brothers and the aforementioned Martin Street Townhomes, it’s no wonder this five bedroom property was gone right away.
4. 1012 W Rex St
This brand-new property is a one of a kind with 6 bedrooms and 4 baths and is only a block away from the Ball State University Health Center! The first floor offers an open concept floor plan between the kitchen and living room. This property is perfect for students who want privacy to study and still have room to bring a few friends over for Cards Against Humanity!
5. 913 N Linden St
This five bed, three bath house would be perfect for you and your furry friends – we mean you pets, not your roommates. It’s a block from Amazon Joe’s Grill and not far from the east side of the Ball State campus!
